Food is my passion. It all starts with an idea and culminates in a unique creation that I take pride in. For instance:

  1. I love developing recipes from a combination of several taking the best of all of them and creating something that I can call my own.
  2. I  call upon my instincts when it comes to my creations. Chowder , my most fervent passion is something that I’ve spent a lot of time and energy perfecting.
  3. Those that know me rave about my food – including my King’s Corner Cafe restaurant customers of the past.
  4. I watch, I listen, I learn; and then I make it my own.

In the last few months my health has become a real issue. I’m in the process of discovering new and better ways to counteract my Type 2 diabetes. Please refer to my blog for articles on healthier ways to cook and eat. I will also be sharing my own original recipes, some healthy, some for comfort. I also love to develop new low carb recipes. Low Calorie means lesser portions of good quality food.
